Here are the goals and purposes for our Ministries here at Franklin Street.
The Ministries are intended to accomplish the following:- Enhance the spiritual life of each Christian.
- Help in the development of the congregation both spiritually and numerically.
- Improve the social and family life of the membership.
- Provides opportunities for members to utilize their various talents and abilities.
- Enlarge the fellowship of the Church by spreading the gospel.
- Establish stronger fellowship with sister congregations.
Needs of the Ministries both present and future, can be divided into
four categories:
- A Positive Image. A Christ like spirit should be maintain at all times. Be aware that we will influence others within and without the church.
- Cooperation. Members must learn how to work together for the good of the congregation. A spirit of unity and love, must always be our desire as children of God.
- Personal In order to achieve success, every member must be involved in one or more of our ministries. God’s speed and good wishes are not enough to assure success in our ministries. Dedicated saints are needed.
- Finance. We need to maintain our financial commitments, through the free-will offerings of the saints. Every member must purpose to support the congregation on a regular basis. To assure that the Church will remain financially strong.
